how do i change my w116 280s dashboard?

Hi Benz riders....

i wanna to ask can i change my dashboard by myself???(our link me a manual please)
i remove old one and bay new.so insert it is very hard!!i fear make crack on that!!!

The process of putting in a new dash is exactly reverse of taking out the old one.
There's a set of "hooks" on the firewall which you have to land the dash on. The tricky part is to make it fit into the corners before. The procedure I know is putting it in at an angle, fitting it at the far corner, and then slowly, but surely pushing it into place on the other end. If it flexes to much (i.e. you have to use force to move it around) - abort mission, take out, try again. Best done in with another pair of hands to help.

I'll try to find the exact steps in the service manual and will post later.

p.s.: Is your car interior moss green (code 906)?

yes-i find new one. w116 is one of my favorite car.
i successfully change my new dash...soon i upload pictures and enplane.
