(//)ive gota chassis leg which I bought as being for a W116 as I now no longer own one I'm planning on advertising it for sale but can anyone confirm its a W116 part? The part number labels have long gone...

It certainly looks like the right hand rear inner chassis leg. I can't imagine somebody replacing this unless they have the car completely disassembled down to the carcass.
