for bronze just add some rust or earth to the gold paint to give it that dirty gold colour.

I would suggest Milanbraun metallic for goldy, then there would be a use for the spare brown interior with cloth inserts and tartan door cards!

i still have not found a use for those tartan interiors, but im sure TJ will end up taking them off me!

the byzantine gold 422 would be close, as i think icon gold is code 420?

i went past the paint shop with TJ yesterday...it seems goldie is only a couple of weeks away now. after all the body work, you can now see the whole thing is primed.  paint is about to go on the rest of the car (door internals done and some test spots done externally)...the bundts are being refurbished, and the chrome is also being done. i suppose then the real work of reassembling the car will be on - and likely to take a very long time! anyhow, some pics

It certainly is a transformation. Astral Silver is a beautiful colour and very practical as well.

I can't wait to see the final product.

i dropped in the paint shop today, and goldie (not quite sure what to call it now) is only a day or two away - simply putting on the bonnet and boot!  there sure will be a lot of reinstallation time of all the bits and pieces...its been a while since i pulled one of these things apart, i hope i get it all sorted!
