Euro headlight and US turn signal compatibility

Hello!

I couldn't find a definite answer to this while searching the forums, so maybe someone here can tell me. The US and Euro turn signals (in their variations) have different part numbers. Is it just a lens difference, or is the housing/mounting on them different as well? Asking because I have a set of Euro headlights waiting for me home in Germany, and not sure if I will need the Euro turn signals as well, or if I can just use the ones from the US headlight setup?

Thanks for the help already in advance,

I'm pretty certain that it is just a lens difference; US is lighter orange and has side reflector while euro is darker orange and doesn't have the side reflector. I don't have my pairs sitting in front of me but I am pretty sure that I used both when I had Euros (removed because of bad reflectors and I got a set of H4 rounds for cheap). I can also say for sure that both styles work with the american headlights.

and different bulb holder (EU and US cannot be exchanged). Thus because the US-turn signals have integrated parking light that
needs an additional electric wire.

Thanks for the quick answers all!

That's very helpful, especially since I like having marker lights in the turn signals, so keeping the US ones with the US bulb holders will work perfectly. I just didn't want to bring everything over here and then realized I should have grabbed a pair or turn signals as well ;-) I am not worried about the wiring - electrical work is probably my favorite thing working on cars, even though I do pretty much anything aside from paint work myself.

Thanks again,

Just to pile on. I believe the US turns will work fine with euro lights. (At least that's what Casey told me)

Thanks! More confirmation is always good, because I wouldn't like not grabbing a set over there for a few bucks if I needed to, although I would prefer the US signals. I know, I am definitely not a purist, I just do what I like and what in my opinion improves the car, but we all know that's very much a personal opinion ;)

I've done this swap recently...was a bit different to the same thing on a W126....the signal lights don't work as marker lights when the car is running or with the headlights on, and if I leave the lights on by mistake the warning buzzer doesn't sound....I did delete the factory fogs - cleaned up the front car nicely.  Lighting is a good improvement,  will be better once I tune it up with relays from Daniel Stern.

So the orange corner lights only light up when you turn the signal on?
