Title: electric window switch
Post by: Pete49 on 26 September 2018, 11:19 PM
Does anybody have a spare electric window switch (double chrome one in console) they are willing to sell? I just got the car registered and on the road when the switch broke and until I organise the A/C I need to be able to lower the drivers window. Its for my W116 450SEL.

What do you mean by the switch is broken? As in the plastic cap it self is cracked and unusable? Or When you depress the switch nothing happens with the window? If the later your switch needs to be cleaned out and re-greased with dielectric grease that is all. Simple procedure. I can provide instruction if you need them.

However, if you switch is indeed broken apart I can send you one unless someone local has one available. It would be 15$ for first class international shipping from USA.

Also available new.  The right one is different than the left one.
