Title: Early US (Euro-style) Under Bumper Fog-Lights
Post by: sutekh on 16 March 2023, 12:25 AM
Hello! I'm in the process of converting my 300SD to euro bumpers, and intend to retain fog lights mounted below the bumper as the early US W116s had.

Can anyone tell me how the bracket circled in red in the attached image affixes to the bumper? Are there dedicated holes in the early US bumpers? It looks like the left side likely affixes to bolt securing the chrome trim covering the bumper seam? What about the right side?

Appreciate any insights :)

There are holes in the bumper for M6 speednuts to bolt on the brackets of the foglights on the early US bumpers , the Euro bumpers overhere also have these holes pre manufactured
