Hello,

What might this fabric on the door frame be called?

Thank you.

Windlace.
If OEM is NLA you can get some aftermarket fabric from any one of various suppliers.

Wow. That has been a question of mine for years. One I didn't ask, utterly convinced that these fabrics are unubtanium.
S pleased to hear that there are aftermarket suppliers for those. Means I can toss that 3-car pile I have been painstakingly cleaning just to find out they are still worn and terrible.

I needed new ones as well and had them made by my mother who is a taylor.
She found a cloth which matches the color perfectly. Sewing the long tubes and turning the inside out was not to her entire pleasure, though.
There are three sizes of those windlace liners. The thinnest one was not sewed because turning it inside out was not possible. I actually cannot rember exactly how I did it.

I still have ca. 160 cm x 140 cm left and would be willing to let the biggest part of it go, in case anyone is interested.
It is a stretch cloth and very easy to handle.
