Title: Discolored Rubber
Post by: Rolo on 12 February 2021, 04:45 PM
Still kicking myself for not installing euro bumpers when they were still available.  My USA bumper rubber has gotten pretty weathered.  Anyone had any luck restoring the black?

I've tried all the rubber treatments.  They wash off.

Did you try gummi pflege, or DOT 5 brake fluid yet?

I have found Griot's tire dressing to be pretty long lasting and isnt shiny. It makes rubber look like rubber.

Cleaning with White Spirit does a good job and then finish off with Autoglym Rubber Treatment which puts a bit of a shine on making it more black.
