That's an impressive amount of work you've done there, car looks absolutely sensational. Driving on your roads in winter must be hell on cars, I wouldn't even get it wet let alone drive on snow. Do they salt the roads there in winter?

Cheers,

Ken

Thank you! It was a long and expensive way to the result, but I think it was worth it in the end.

I never drive my 450 on winter or salted roads. I only drive this car in summertime ;D

Wow, amazing! It would seem you have endless money, but you put it to good use. Very inspiring.

Hi Charlie,

Beautiful car!!! I don't think most parents take that many pictures of their kids. It's nice to see someone with their priorities straight.

I will have to store these images in my mental spank tank  :o my fave is the dash that seems like a much better alternative than replacing and its kinda prereminiscent of the W140 S600's

Hi Charlie,
What size wheels and tyres do you have on your car? Are there any problems with the tyres rubbing in the guards? Did you lower the suspension?

Cheers,

Ken

What an impressive project. Must have cost a arm and leg with all the replacement parts.

Was the dash, center console and panel covers custom made or are these available from the shelve

 :o :o :o

That is a fantastic job you have done. Seeing work like this makes me wish I had the facilities to do this too!

The site is actually in Norwegian. If you install the Google toolbar in your browser, it has an auto-translate feature (that's how I know the site is in Norwegian - it looks to me like German, too.)

The dash, console and panel covers were all custom. There is a place (or used to be - I believe they've quit doing dash recovering) in AU that will/would reskin W116 dashes. I got a quote about 6 months ago of $495US + shipping to get my dash recovered.

No problem to read my norwegian thread if you install Google translate.

Everything is hand-made specially for my car :). (Exept the skin for the seats. They was made in US somewhere)
