I am a bit worried about you and your "pipes" though...

This guy is having serious hood ornament envy:

This kid can run?

I can't wait to get a dash-cam, and I might find a way to hook up the ornament to a circuit, so if anybody does pull on it, they'll get a nice shock.

As for the skanky ho, I'd tell her to get her gonorrhea-infested tongue off of my car. Her daddy must be so proud.

Ah, that's the 'fanfare' horn. When I first read about it in my owners manual I thought it was some kind of musical horn, to be used when chauffeuring foreign dignitaries through parade ceremonies or some shit. Turns out it's slightly less exciting than that. They were optional on some models but were more common in Europe. It switches to a second horn that supposedly had a different tone and volume which projected the sound further in front of the car, for high-speed use on the autobahn and similar.

My owners manual explains it, but upon inspection I found my car does not have one. :(

My donor car has had one. Still working fine.
I guess I could hook it up to a spare battery and record the "fanfare" for everyones musical pleasure (but seriously, calling it a fanfare is a major overstatement).

Please do.  Remember, it isn't just for us, it's for the future.  :)

Why don't you just put Dixie horns on the car and paint a flag of your choosing on the roof. And put the plates Boogan. Geoff :)

hang on, some people have FACTORY ones that play tunes?? surely not.

as i understand it, the optional horns are for autobarn/country driving, to scare the life out of any wildlife/elderly motorists.
basically, very very loud. and i want some.

I'm sure you could get some Bosch snail type units through Burson which will be quite loud.....

I have a set of electrofiama Italian units, 2 tone suckers that are 135Db......

They have followed me from car to car for years now and are so loud they can alter menstrual cycles with a single blast................

then again all the horns on my Benz's are 2 tone and very loud as they are, Not to mention melodious!
