AMG full body kit

Hi guys just letting you know that i have been talking to a bodykit shop here in Perth about making copies off the full AMG bodykit for a w116 based on photos on the net he has asked me to bring my car around to measure up when i return to Perth in about 8 weeks time if interested i will let everyone know price

I obviously have a replica front AMG spoiler and a genuine rear AMG spoiler on my car.

I would probably be interested in the price of side skirts and rear skirt.

These photos have been around for years but I have never seen them in reasonable quality before - we'll see what arrives.

i think i saw 126 AMG kit on ebay lin the last week. have a look as it must be pretty similar and you might just need to cut and lengthen/shorten the side skirts. a lot cheaper and mroe accurate than eyeball fabrication!

With zero bids, starting $250 and what appears to be no reserve! It would cost that much to have a designer look at it and scratch his head - let alone talk!

Seller is Mercmad who may have been on here but is certainly on Ozbenz, Ron in Brisbane. I'm not interested, like mine like it is but if it was a W126....

how did you go with the spring compressor - I hope you used the correct plates top and bottom and didn't get them reversed - I worried all night.

My pleasure.

The spring compressor was a marvel... each spring was out in a few minutes. The larger of the two plates were required and the plates only fit in one orientation, which is good. They were very secure, but even so, the amount of potential energy was frightening... these springs are compressed like you wouldn't believe, even when the suspension is at full drop. Thanks for your concern.

Sorry Bill i just told my brother to bid on it as i dont have constant internet where i am if you want i will give you some money to have hybrid take a look at the kit and thanks for the offer parts of goldie ofer still stand when i get more than a week back in Perth
