Title: Air con sensor - thermostat inside dashboard
Post by: mrkozzy on 07 September 2020, 04:06 AM
Hi all.

Found this sensor, (thermostat?) hanging around loosely behind my  aircon & heater control panel.

See pic.

It was in no particular area, just seemingly rammed in there.

Does it have a specific area to be so that it does what its meant to do effectively? Is it meant to be up, down, front, rear?
&
When I first  handled the end part, the "end cover" came off in my hand. Does it matter? I assume its put there for a purpose.

Who has been down this road before me and what did you do?

Air con and heater are working fine by the way.

Thanks

It goes to the evaporator box through that metal piece.

Great Taha.  Thank you.

Everything has a place.
