3rd brake light

I saw this interesting modification to a W116 for sale - a third LED brake light installed underneath the license plate.  Seems an odd place for it, but I think I like it more than putting something in the rear window (not that I like them at all):



I have a hard time understanding how the vehicle is in this stunning of condition with nearly 300k miles...guess the owner just took really good care of it!  Just goes to show how actually giving a care about your car can make it last indefinitely.  Definitely a good setup for hot sunny climates - white exterior, parchment interior, and dark tinted windows.
