My rear window is stuck down. There's  no sound and neither the center or door switch will engage or move the window. If the center switch is bad/ dirty would that stop the rear switch from also working?

Just trying to figure out where to start, before is start to take apart the door. Any ideas appreciated.

I'd start with fuses. Then take the switches out, they do come out easy, but be very careful not to damage the chromed plastic (plastic trim wedge works best). Check if they get power at all. They are each wired independently if memory serves.

If you get power, but there's no action at all, the motor is likely shot (best case it's the brushes, worst case the winding). A failed lifter normally makes one heck of a racket if the motor is still running.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like it was a dirty connection. Cleaned it up, and the window moves. Still have to figure why neither worked.  Still have to retest the back window.
