Does anybody know if there is a way to check these before I re-install my dash and find out the old one is bad?

Job 83-609 in the manual gives a list of resistance readings for various sensors, including the ambient one, that should give you an idea of it's operation.

bbnlv,

The workshop manual is available right here in the Library for free, it outlines all the procedures to check the sensor chain in the ACC system.

Tks,

bbnlv,

The vacuum elements in the ACC are:

On top of the a/c box:

center vent
defrost

Lower portion of a/c box:

legroom flaps

At the passenger foot well  behind/below the glove box:

outside air flap
recirc / 80% recirc flap

Tks,

Joe
