Quote from: rumb on Yesterday at 08:44 AMGreat condition. For reference my 300se with 260k miles is in similar shape. <excluding the damn door dings from parking lots  >:(  >:(  All it takes is an owner that takes good care and a dry climate.
Whats up with the red oil tank cap? Some sort of switch where the radio fader belongs.
And also the red alternator.  I don't think I ever saw that before, I guess most have been replaced at this point. Now I want a red alternator too.

Yes it should have a threaded little bolt in there.  I don't have the size but as a stop gap you can just put a snug fitting silicone type cap over it to seal in the meantime.

1976 450SE I have a high idle problem. I was looking around for vacuum leaks and fixed a few but I kept hearing a leak. I found that the adjustment hole between the fuel distributor and the air inlet was pulling air in.

After watching many videos I saw a few that had plugs. Mine didn't.  Is there supposed to be a plug? It looks threaded, if it is supposed to be plugged can someone tell me the bolt size/thread it uses.
Thanks

That's a beauty.  There was another Euro on BAT that had those same weird circular things in the wood portion of the dash and a km/hr speedo.  My Euro has neither.  Are the plastic door step covers darker than normal?  Hard to figure out how they kept that car in such good shape with those miles.

Check it out.  Premium pricing yet no info on servicing, no suspension info, no pix of chassis, no spoiler and no washer reservoir.  That said, I seriously covet the trunk mats and dashboard.  Doesn't look like it sold.  Enjoy!
