Becker Mexico Cassette Vollstereo Diagram

Hello!

Does anyone by any chance have the circuit board diagrams and circuit diagrams for the above radio in good quality? I have them, but the scans are just not good enough for me to read the component identifiers. What happened is that I pulled the amp out of the dashboard the other day (while the stereo was on, stupid me...) and I got caught with the bare metal part of the automatic antenna connection on something metal in there that was grounded. A quick spark, and no more Becker :(

I couldn't find a fuse anywhere externally accessible to the stereo, but I see a fuse (maybe Si 301, 2AT ~ Si = Sicherung = Fuse, 2A Träge = 2A Slow, but it's hard to read) on the Equalizer/Decoder board schematic, that certainly would blow when someone does what I did.

Anyone here have any idea where to find that fuse, and what style it is? Is there maybe a glass fuse holder soldered somewhere on the board? Just trying to get an idea before I try to take everything apart and go hunt for it ;)

Thanks already in advance,
Zax

Do a quick search. I recall someone had the full manual scanned on here with circuit and such.

That's the one I have! The problem is that once I zoom in close enough, the quality degrades too much to read. I am *fairly* certain the fuse is a "2AT", but I still can't see the drawing of the board itself good enough to make a guess where the fuse might be located.

After googling A LOT I finally found a good enough resolution schematic at least - so it's definitely a fuse. The problem is that I still don't have a good resolution of the circuit layout, so I'll just have to tear it apart and try to find that fuse if no one else has any idea on which board it may be. Guess it's a good time to completely go through it, change belts and bulbs and clean...

I attached the schematic just in case someone else needs it!

I guess once you uploaded an attachment you can't edit it anymore - I cleaned up the file as good as I could in a few minutes, so I uploaded it again - I apologize - maybe a moderator can remove the previous upload to save some space?
