Dunno...it would be a toss up between an engine rebuild for the 280, though it doesn't really need one but it can't hurt, or a full AMG kit or something on the 350 just for fun. It's a low spec (options) car afterall, so I wouldn't worry too much on originality.

Would be fun, but I'd refuse to molester the 280SEL. If it was a reletively low milage cheap 'poverty pack' 280SE or something, I probably would.

I'm seriously thinking of sprucing up the front of the 350SE though (yes, in real life even without the $2000  ).
