Once I get the E30 to a nice track status, I'll let you double enter her at a Sandown event..  ;)  I can't wait to get back to that place.

Oh mate, I couldn't do it. I'd be too scared of breaking something. I'd be happy enough just to ride shotgun during warm up, or join the pit crew for the day.  8) Would love to get down there again one day.

Perfect examples there motec of what can be bought for beemers.  Reminds me of the Z3 at Oran Park that Cam tussled with in the 450.  The Z3 had yet to be painted fibreglass bonnet and quarter panels I think.  Whatever the  improvements the 450 stayed on his tail and had to back off at the end of the straight to avoid it getting too personal ;D  Anyhow, I was tempted to jump camps after that BMW Supersprint day.  I better stop reminiscing before I get too interested.

You'd be fine mate.  These things are on rails.  I feel like I've defected, but not to worry.. benz is still in the heart and working on that slowly (properly and mega with awesomeness... one day. ;) )

The beauty of that outing in the 450 was... That was with the welded diff.. and it was really the only event I ran the locker.  With the weight loss the car went through, and the locker.. the stock 450 engine sang sweetly all day... and the torque held up to the Z3.  If the Z3 had a little more kahuna's he could've probably got the punch out of the corner onto the straight and kept well ahead, but I was in a car that I bought for $300.  So I was punching it a bit harder.  :-X
