That would be an expensive mod!

Now, maybe when those 3D printers get to be cheaper, bigger and more widely available... we'll be able to make our own NLA parts! No photoshop required!

I think one day it will be nearly as easy as photoshopping, esp if the trend of open source schematics stays along for the ride.

I saw a recent idea for a 3D printer which can do some various rubbers, plastics AND metals

Just pour in your required medium in the cartridge, load the schematic file, wait for the layering, and shabang! New hood, door, plastic bits, etc.
