Any one heard of one of these? Or what their production numbers were? A friends father apparently has one sitting in their shed.

Harv

Yes, AMG of North America made their version of a 'Hammer' with a 300E that had a 6.0 in it.

Should look like this:

If it's not red, it's not the real deal. If it is red, tell him I'll buy it

Yes apparently it's red!

i dont think it was north american related.  the hammer was bored out from 5.6 to 6.0 and the e60 was the rare result as i understood.

I'd never heard of one till the other day. I would guess only a few thousand were made?

W124 E60 AMG.. According to the net there were only 126 units built.
I would say that this makes for a great purchase if you were planning to keep it for a long time.
Now let's hope we will still have oil by the time it goes to Christie's ;D

This isn't the same car.

E60 cars were based off 500E/E500.

The car we are talking about was based off the 300E.
