Impractical, yet ingenious. Reminds me of hours spent tweaking head alignment on early computers, so that my darn games would load properly :D

Definitely ingenious given the limitations of the technology. I can see being accurate to 30yds causing problems but the thought put in to identifying and solving the problem is impressive. Tomorrow's World was a great BBC programme the only thing like it now is Click on the BBC News 24 channel.
