Decided to do a painting of my old stomping ground on the gold coast. i wanted to depict a midlife crisis of sorts, it started with a w126-probably my favourite car but too mundane to suggest a mid life crisis. tried a quick drawing from my head with a 6.9, using the bad pun on purpose but it looked like a movie poster, and benzes werent cutting it for this one unfortunately. what was needed was sheer obnoxious impractical in your face fast car hence the porsche.( i actually appreciate porsches- just not at 15kph!)

That's damn fine work there (I'll forgive you about the Porsche)!!!!  So, care to be the official style dept for the site then??  LOL!  I'd pay to have my car done in a scene like that....

yeah i should do a sequel painting. I miss the white linen suits! hobart people bag them out- everyone just wears black down here. one day ill squeeze in a w116 onto a canvas. i agree blue poles is an utter load of crap-much abstracted art and conceptual art is stale and a case of the emperors new clothes i feel

I might be able to sort something out for you oversize! send us a photo of the 6.9 you like and i can get in contact with my models to pose for a painting. I reckon I could do an A3 sized painting for 150 dollars, plus postage that should cover the cost of the models. (ha ha got one model that gets paid in gin and tonic!)
