What happens *when* the engine goes bang ?

I doubt it'd be economically viable to rebuild it on an 8 year old mercedes, nor would those engines be easily available second hand

I reckon you would just buy another car, or you could get an exchange engine from Mercedes.

It wouldn't be cheap though.

I've thought about buying a w220 but i'd need to get rid of my 6.9 first as ive no room. I cant even imagine what the insurance would cost on a twin turbo v12 with my driving history.
