Retiring my W126

After 27 years of daily driving my 300se it looks like it is being relegated to the rest of the collection for occasional use. Car is a joy to drive and drives in near new fashion due to years of maintenance. (It does need the rear axles rebuilt.) Enjoyed 264K miles!  Some do say a well maintained higher mileage car is better than a garage queen low miles....

Why?  Well my wife got a 2021 E450 Cabriolet and so I get the CLS550.

Feels weird driving a newer car all the time, however I will get the GTS out in a couple of months for the summer and park the CLS.

I plan on keeping the W126, perfect car for when the electric grid implodes.....

Well served, and happy retirement! You get some serious muscle as replacement ;)

How is the power of the 3 liter straight six?  I always thought that the body of the 126 needs that 560 torque to get up and go.
