well, for that sale price, the person really, really wanted it & you know that car is going to get a an absolute first class restoration

That was quite a sale! I'm sure demand far exceeds supply in this case, so someone got their dream car.

the AMG re-manufactured gullwing is pretty cool too and almost practical to have as a daily driver with all relatively recent drivetrain, suspension and interior items. Only problem is the sheet metal after an accident, but I'm sure that can be made again on request.
