Oldtimer Markt socket set test

November issue tested 16 brands, amongst which were tests for tensile strength, quality of components, ease of use, and value for money. Interesting results.

No. 1 was made in Argentina (Bahco), No. 2 was made in China (Wisent), and No. 3 was made in Taiwan (Proxxon). Well known brands were Stahlwille (No. 4) Hazet (No. 10) Stanley (No. 13). Last was Snap-on.

Interesting survey.

Do they mention Kingcrome which is appearing more and more in Oz.

No. Most of the names in the survey were unlnown to me, but Kingcrome may have been there, but under another name. I suspect the name is only a marketing name.
