Strange topic for a car forum, but watching BBC World a few minutes ago, there was a report on the South Korean President visiting North Korea today. Pictured was a spectacular black 600 Landaulet and a black W109 (6.3 ?)., and there may have been a stretch 116 there as well.

North Korea has several 600's
there was a thread a few months back on the m100 site where I posted some pictures from the movie, Behind Enemy Lines II, Axis of Evil, in the opening shots is a few seconds of 600's passing by military troops, looks like something right out of Stalin's Soviet Russia.

There is a fellow on the m100 site with all the delivery figures for the world for the production run of the 600.

i just saw the same footage...i love kim jong (please note sarcasm here)...he is riding in a 1960s w100 with new w220s driving right behind him (dont think they were 221s)...you gotta give it to a man who walks around all day in tracksuits, he has style!

I noticed those cars too. I wonder how good is the work to keep them in that condition. Perhaps I could send my car there! (Yes, mixed emotions)

I'll bet they either have MB trained mechanics, or the crew from DC Germany goes over there and maintains them.
