"New Golf 1 GTI" available in SA

After reading the thread about the Golf 1 still being in production in SA, I realised that nothing was mentioned about the new "fast version" of the Golf 1 that has been launched in SA as a limited version. I think its great that you guys still have the mark 1 golf in production but have you seen this new Golf from VW.

Seen it, yes. On another forum the heading was: "The Golf to end all" which I think was very appropriate!

The nose on that Golf GTI W12 looks as boringly bland and characterless as most modern snoopy-nosed cars.

The body would have to be hellishly strong not to pretzel itself with the torque from the W12.  Was it designed from the ground up with the W12 in mind, or is it just another 4- or 6-cylinder design that will be bodily compromised with all that power?
