Title: new addition, 280te
Post by: nathan on 18 August 2018, 06:08 AM
ive been searching for a nice 123 wagen for years.  ive missed out on the only one in nice shape a few years back so decided id head down the resto path.  a club member told me about a one family owned 280te which whilst not in great shape, was worth a look. so the yellow wagen is on the books for a resto in the near future.  it will probably end up silver like the 6.9 as the yellow is pretty wild, and my wife would never drive with me!
some shots with the family wagens.

Great purchase, I'm sure plenty of fun will be had with this indeed.

I do have some spare 6.9 motors OS, but no. for 0.5 seconds I thought about an early gen 1 500 motor I had too.

Greg, missing a wagen? no im not. sorry, snippy comment but the 210 is about as plain or taxi like that a car could be.  the interiors on those things were drab, dont think I could bring myself to have on

HI Nathan, I tend to Agree about the W210............... ;D ;D ;D

Strangely, there are a few W111 Fintail station wagons but no W114/ W115 models in station wagon (T body)

Greg,
I believe only 2 e55 w210s made it to Australia and there was one of these (white) for sale a couple of years ago. note really my taste but if you can complete the 5-fecta, perhaps!

Well the finny universals were Binz or IMA, so never really factory.  Crayford did build 114/5 wagons in the UK.
