my 6.9 is the only Mercedes I've personally bought.

A work colleague prior to this stored his '73 w114 280 at my place, for a short while before i heavy handedly suggested to him, with brute persuasion to sign it over to me. This really was the car that got me interested in benz's - I was suitably shocked with it being so ancient, yet offering an amazingly competent drive.

I kept it for 2 more weeks and then cut it up and took it to be recycled. She had terminal cancer.
