Why would you try to control a tracked vehicle with a steering wheel, that's not going to work well...

What you need is two levers on either side of you, one that controls the speed of each track.  And you don't want to try to turn too tight, as the tracks aren't really meant to be twisted sideways and I'd think that would be damaging to them.  There goes the brilliant Mercedes turning radius...
