Merc advertising in Oz

Never mind the post on Ferrari in australia , what about benz advertising in oz!!
i confess to being an obsessive benz advertising hoarder with brochures in particular going back a little while...
when in germany recently, i swiped some new ones and when i got back had a flick through...i recall a few years back, they flew the CL (215) over to perth, to snap it in the pinnacles here in wa...low and behold in the new brochure of the updated SL, they decided to return to oz...anyone else know where it is???

the lucky inhabitants will recognise the 'narrows' and bondy's finest building

Sure looks like Perth taken from under the Narrows Bridge but it's a long time since I went parking under any bridge with anybody so the view is a little unfamiliar.

Will do a go around at some time over the Easter Weekend.

interestingly, they built a stage floor for the shot by the look of it as the area has an old road where the SL comfortably sits...
still cool that they came to perth to shoot it for a global advertising campaign

Merc advertising in Oz?  That's pretty interesting Nathan and there's no hint of an opera house or harbour bridge.  I recognise the two tall buildings but only because there's a rise or a hill where everyone seems to take a photo of Perth.  Never been there myself but it has to be the most recogniseable shot of perth for me. 

And what do you know, I google and the first image is the one I'm talking about.  BTW, which one's Bondy's, left or right big one?

but bondys original R&I tower is the dark one in the centre

That's an old Photo of Perth - The tall buildings are the same but there is a large Convention Centre/Busport being built with a major move around of the freeway system.
