m110 oil leak

Hi I have a 1984 280SL r107 with the m110 engine have got small oil leak on the cylinder head between the two front inspection covers. How can I fix this.

Hello Ricky,
Even though this forum is for W116 chassis, your still in luck as that model includes the M110 engine.  The cylinder head on it has 3 layers and has a valve cover gasket and a camshaft housing gasket. The small covers also have gaskets that could be leaking.

You need to examine how many miles are on your engine and whether a full head rebuild is justified or just replace the middle gaskets.
That engine is prone to head warpage if overheated, complicating things.
