I shared with you all my sadness at having to scrap my beloved 1994 Caravan...  it just wasn't in good enough condition to replace the transmission  (although it still looked good from across the parking lot).

Anyway, I've replaced it after a dutiful search... with another 1994 Dodge Caravan!  Sometimes you just can't argue with success - and for $1000 (with no major problems) I think I did pretty well.  Heck, the old one scrapped for $400.

It is a little strange to get the exact same vehicle (although this one does not have AWD), but the price was right, maintenance records are meticulous and it drives like a dream.

HAHA, nice!  :D I was wondering what you'd ended up with. This is probably the best way to go. It's tried and true.  8)
