My brother was talking to me about a recent project car he did with his friend who owns Morbid Rodz of Paris, Texas. Rat Rods, hot rods and the like aren't typically my thing (I don't really care for chopped cars or lowered cars, either). Whatever floats your boat, though.

Anyway, they stuck a Cummins diesel into a 1960 Cadillac with a highly modified drive train. The car is ridiculously fast and it's interesting to see a billow of black smoke coming out of a Caddy anyway. These cars are typically made to order, so whatever is done is what was requested from the buyer.

The guy primarily does hot rod stuff, but he's a very talented fabricator with a huge shop and lots of tools. When my car is safe to make the trek to Texas, I'll most likely take it there for body work. Even with the cost of the trip, it'll be a lot cheaper than what I can get done here in Florida. Part of my payment will undoubtedly involve indentured servitude  :D

Haha! I don't care for black smoke, but I do love diesels. In fact, if I ever owned a non-diesel car I would probably turn it into one.
