Great pics, some beautiful cars there alright. The driving position in the Lambo is insane, with the rake on the windscreen you must be just about flat on your back when you're in the thing, dunno how you can see over the dash at all. Particularly since the bloody dash looks like it was made from a few slabs of plywood and covered with some nice vinyl as an afterthought, be hard to tear your eyes away from the horror of it and look at the road ahead.
Cheers,
Ken

it certainly does look very "high tech" 80's with the harsh straight lines and boxyness. The driving position is ridiculous and one needs to be short and a contortionist just to be able to sit in it and use the pedals. Look at that massive wheel arch bulge where your legs are supposed to go ;)

Beautiful, beautiful. All of them exclusive cars. Of course some of them are rather impractical but if you just look at them and study them they are all awesome vehicles!

The Countach is an ergonomic disaster.
The E-type you can't accelerate AND turn the wheel at the same time because then it won't change course when taking over! First turn the wheel carefully and then touch the gas pedal cautiously to gain speed. And when you want to brake, they might work, they might not. Otherwise stunning design.

But the GT40 is the one that inspired lots of other designers and is stereotypical for sports cars late 60's and from the 70's.

I like the GT40 and the Alfa Romeo best.

Thanks for sharing these pictures!

I can't go past the shaguars as my fave.  But the Countach - we were at an Italian car show in Canberra a few years back when 4 of these beasts took off down the highway afterwards.  Man what a sound.
