The description is priceless.  http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1982-volvo-shihitbox-left-tire-still-has-air-W0QQAdIdZ440069220

I've seen plenty of Mercedes in worse shape, but if the hood star is there they usually ask $3000 or so.

Reminds me of the Diesel Chevy LUV I once had, except nicer. Here in Georgia, that'd be about $2-300 in scrap metal.  Well worth the effort if not otherwise gainfully employed.

Not sure about the description of events the seller provided.  I mean really, if you got it on the trailer already and you have a little electrical fire, you just cut the cable, hit it with an extinguisher a few times and go on with life.    I certainly wouldn't waste time taking it back and off the trailer.  Then again... the only time I've had a battery explode in my face was on a 240 wagon quite similar to that one.    Maybe caution is called for after all?  ;)

Thats a terminally screwed 240 lol

Buggered if i know how he got it that bad but I suspect Salt has a bit to do with it.

the 4wd has me stumped though, Never seen a factory 4wd 240.

I Popped a 245 body onto a landcruiser chassis years ago but it looked far from factory lol
