Cars and Coffee

Was watching the tv show Chassing Classic Cars the other day, were the host goes along to a event called Cars and Coffee. It's held every Sat morning in a large car park were hundreds of classic, exotic, hot rods and just plane cool cars and there owners hang out for a chat and a coffee. I checked out there website and it looks like they have meets all over the U.S and Europe, I was just thinking it would be great to have something like that were I live in Melbourne Australia.

That said I havent been in a few years and im not sure if it is now just an informal gathering once a month or an official event.

That said we can always crash a gathering as they seem fairly informal with people rocking up and backing into parking spaces.

C&C events happen once a month in each of various locations around Ireland. The meetings contain a wide variety of vehicles such as jap stuff like Honda S2000's and MR2's, through classic US Muscle cars and modern European stuff like BMW M3's to classics such as Mercs and lovely old Lancias and Alfa Romeos.


The events aren't affiliated to the 'official' C&C events, but they have gained the nickname and it has stuck.

If they don't like their party being crashed we could always find another good coffee place.  In Melbourne there's plenty.....

Very true, Sugar art is/was popular though because of its central location for all and the event was an all breeds meet initially but it seems mainly Valiant guys show up these days and to be honest most of them also enjoy other marques.

I haven't got the letter from Vic Roads yet but when i do she will be on the road finally and you are high on my visit list......

Yeah but the coffee here's crap and we don't have fresh muffins!!!  LOL!  You're welcome here anytime, just give me a heads-up so we can do some cleaning (and wash a few cars).  I'll need about a month's notice with all the cars I'd have to wash!!!

Doesn't have to be at your place Mark and I normally don't do car meets at private residences anyway because its impolite to place that burden on someone. (Hosting)
