G'day lad's...

Thought you might like to check out this:

How would you like to have brought this property?
Imagine you're going to live in Portugal.
You find a lovely farmhouse set on a decent plot of land.
The place has been empty for 15 years...
While exploring your new property you find a large barn.
The door is padlocked and welded shut and it's all rusted
solid.

So you grind the padlock and the welds off and.........
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think there might even be one of those Aston Martin's in there somewhere..

Brian Crump

What a way cool find!!
I'll take the Flaminia Zagato, please. plus a few others... ;D
Regards,
BC

Wheres the barn choc full of 116 goodness, with the M100 thrown in for good measure?
There must be someone out there that has stockpiled them for safe keeping  :D

SELfor50

Yep... they've got #1, #2 & #3 (and of course #7380).  The interior is crafted from 100% swedish virgin pubic hair (refined of course) and they're all AMG badged with 17km's on the clock.

They're in that barn right between cloud 9 & heaven.  :D

though i could be wrong?!  ???

500eguy

Does happen - a guy in Indiana got upset at the scrap drives during WWII and HUNG 18 Cords, Auburns and Duesenburgs that weren't running from the beams in his warehouse.... and pretty much forgot about them.  They were worth NOTHING then - unrepairable and with rationing impossible to drive.

Here's one now - restored:

Hope springs eternal.  I bought my 51 studebaker starlite from behind a whorehouse, and my 6.9 (see m-100 site for restoration details) from behind a ghetto used furniture store.

Peter Herscheid up in Nelson Bay is slowly turning his entire property into one big Merc barn-find. If you're ever heading up along Nelson Bay Rd at Salt Ash, stop for a look just after the bridge after the turn-off to Lemon Tree Passage (I know I know, all you internationals are chuckling at our antipodean place names). On the right you will see miles of Mercs (and there are many more you can't even see). It's a Merc-maze. And they are all slowly dying...
