'83 300SD, I'm back!  It's the son's new car (12/2020)
1976 450SEL, 116.033  Sold it to buy a '97 Crown Vic.  Made sense at the time.

Didn't realise it was going to be aussie until the bloke in the blue singo (singlet), thongs (flip flops) with stubby (beer bottle) in hand appeared.  ;D
Loved it, great looking car and nice sound though a bit risky putting it on youtube I would think.  Would love to see a few w109 examples on the track.

Risky putting it on the tube for sure.

Very nice example, looks like great interior and also great paint.

Looks like the diff opens up on a few of the turns though?!  The 6.3's don't have IRS do they?

That workshop looks like it's in the middle of the burbs though, and they've got plenty 11's out the front of their shop...not really a good look for them.  Of course it probably brings business in.  ::)

Is that a retorical question Michel?
I know of a 6.9 that has no issues doing that.  Oscar's driven it too. :)

I wonder if we could do the same with a 6.9?

:D :D  There's "11s" all around the nation's capital to prove it. :D

I thought it looked residential too but had a closer look on the second vid and thought maybe it's all industrial after all.  Camera man moves into the midle of the street and there's some big buildings both sides of the street and down both ends in the second vid.  Oh yes, there is a second vid  8) 8) 8)  Click on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXS0Zo0A22s&feature=channel especially 1:45 onwards.

Yes... a 6.3 has IRS, of the swing axle type as did all MBs of the era. MBs have had IRS for a very long time, just not multilink until more recently.

Nice and torquey..... Very impressive.

I wonder if we could do the same with a 6.9?

It's already been done, in my 6.9 by Major Tom. ;)
