thanks sclass.  after reading the link congratulations to  #Johnny w116 # from Holland.

looks like he has NR 304.  OK but that is in Europe.

just looked up my Vin and it ends with  10'882.

       any older ones in Ozzy?

Got no idea what month my 73 350 was but I doubt I could beat January.  My vin's in the 14 thousands or 16, I can't remember but because the different models all started from 000001, it means there's a 280S with the same suffix build number out there somewhere.

If I could help tie this thread to the previous one mentioned...The question of oldest 6.9 was asked and I am quite confident that I found a 1976 - 000066 euro spec for sale...

6.9 #0007 was for sale about 12 to 18 months ago.  It was dark metallic blue (magnetite?)  It was in outsanding low-miles condition, and presumably went for a high price.

Yes and no.  The end of run cars usually have a lot more of the luxurious options.  However, #0007 was considered very pure, and being in outstanding condition, super desirable. 

I think desirablility is more clearly linked to condition and originality than position in the run.
