haha no wife here buddy but i'll save it for future reference.
When i save it it , and open it up it just displays an image, not video. any ideas?

I think it might have to do with what you're opening it with.  For example, if you put in an email by INSERT>PICTURE FROM FILE and put it in the body of an email (not attachment), then email it to someone or yourself it'll play.  I've had animated gif's that wouldn't play in windows picture and fax viewer but did in an internet explorer window ???

Right click on it and "save picture" to anywhere on the computer.
