Here are my new brake hoses

custom made 6.9 brake hoses,

clear plastic coated stainless steel braided. No beating around the bush.

Will double check fitment tomorrow, expressions of interest by PM.  8)

PS, back in dullsville now.

They look awsome. 8)

I noticed your rears have F/F connections.  Looking on my online EPC, (autohausAZ) ::)  The 6.9 rears differ from "some" other w116's so far as the 6.9 have two female connections just like yours above and some others like a 280S have male/female connections.  Fronts are the same.  I'm guessing it wont be too much of a hassle to get the manufacturer to make whatever one wishes.  Will PM you when i confirm what I've got.  FWIW, lengths appear the same ie: fronts 44.5cm (17.5 inch), rears 30.5cm (12 Inch).

That's impressive. I reckon I'll have to partake in the new trend.

BTW Oscar, I suspect that the difference is because of the anti-squat vs. standard setup situation.

I have been suitably impressed with the quality of these hoses and will now make it public, where you may purchase them from  8)

You will need to make note of your hose configuration and contact them with the required lengths and hose fittings. Their details off hand for our vehicles is very, very wrong - so make sure you explain exactly what you need.

http://stores.ebay.com/ApexLimit Contact them, as theres no listing for our cars.

this was $110 USD delivered in a week.

Yes you can get cheaper versions, but these things look good enough to be used on the international space station.

PS. takeoff torque compensating rear ends versus plain vanila rear ends use different hoses.

Just double checking something.  Do I have to be more specific about the connections' thread size and pitch or if I say "w116" they'll know their size.  I'm just unaware if there is a standard thread size for brake hose connections.

Nothing at all special about them, brake hoses for cars of this era mostly used the same fittings. motorbikes and modern cars are different though. telling them the model and the specifics of your hoses will be sufficient.

You can use my ebay username if required as a reference, m100.985 or my real name, David in perth western australia

That's not cheap, I think I'll leave mine until after rego. They're easy enough to get at anyway.

they are a mild interference fit, they can be pulled and pushed using a big ass nut and bolt, but since the subframe is out im going to change them now, using the press. the shackles for the stabilizer bar are only $30 something dollars each which was a surprise.
