New owner, new member - looking for advice on a Sydney mechanic

Hi everyone,

I've just bought my first Mercedes - a 1977 450SEL - it's fantastic!  The car has been well maintained and is in pretty good condition - of course I'd like to keep it that way.

Can anyone provide any advice or recommendations on reliable, trustworthy mechanics in Sydney that know these cars through and through and are reasonably priced?  Bonus points for being either North Shore / inner-city or inner-west.

Any advice is much appreciated,

Thanks,
Matt.

Check out this post. There is simply none better. Any other mechanic is simply wasting your money (believe me, I have wasted my money with other mechanics :'( ).

This workshop is not far from the southern end of the Eastern Distributor and is easy enough to get to.

I have also heard Arthur Rizzo in North Sydney is good but I have never used his services.

I trust my 1976 450SE to the care of Rolan Grenninger of Penninsula Prestige Autos, 33  Warraba Rd, Narrabeen, Ph 9970 5107.

He is knowledgeable, reiliable and well priced for his work.

I have used him for over 10 years now.  I couldn't think of any other person / business that I could give the same commendation to for any sales / service or support work.  He really is a top block in every way.
