K-Jet or D-Jet?
« on: 27 August 2008, 11:41 AM »

Sorry, a stupid question. Can anyone distinguish from the image below whether my car has a K-Jet or D-Jet injection? The car's first registration is 6/1976. I know that the early models have D-Jet, which was updated to K-Jet around that time.

Wikipedia says that: "from 07/75 K-Jetronic"
The library of this site says that: "K-Jetronic from February 1976"

I don't know when my car was actually made.

Looks like D-Jet to me and that is a very nice engine bay. Smiley

definitely D-jet, i see the d-jet intake manifold, throttle body and air filter, as well as the little "manifold absolute pressure" sensor to the right.
