Adjusting mixture

Hi guys
A little stumped here (does not take much ;D)
Trying to adjust the mixture by the adjusting bolt on my 6.9. Turning it outwards, counterclockwise has no effect on idle quality :o
Thought that the idle should get worse as you lean it out, no?
Timing is perfect at TDC with hot engine, idle at 650 rpm.
Any tips?
Cheers

OK think I figured it out, there was a little bolt sealing the channel. Unscrewing it revealed the 3mm hex socket bolt for adjustment.
