Hi folks,

The tensioner pulley on my M110 just failed after only about 20k kms.  I thought the AC (York) compressor was the issue as the pulley was so new that I didn't suspect it as the source of the noise and vibration.  Did I just get a dud or is this a common issue?

Finding a replacement at short notice proved a challenge.  I ended up paying $105 AUD in Sydney.  The dealer wanted $167.  MB Spares in Canberra wanted $89. I note that OEM ones on Pelicanparts are about $45 USD.

Any informed commentary??

Get a pulley from a W126 series with M110 motor, the bearing on the pulley of later M110 motors can be renewed on its own.
