interchangeable dashboard parts?

hey all, i have a lovely 280s vehicle and i have aquired a gauge cluster from an australian delivery 450sel. what i would like to know is can i fit the tacho cluster from the 450sel into my 280s without having to curse in german and bust up my good dashboard. as far as i can see its only a couple of extra wires. any help would be greatly appreciated.
