rear seats/ head restraints

Im concerned about the lack of head restraints in the rear seats of the SE versions of these cars.ill feel better if my rear passengers had them so less chance of becoming quadraplegics in a rear end collision. There are no holes for putting in head restraints in my rear seat so will a seat for an SEL fit if i were to put one in?

They should.  My 350 had no rear headrests but I swapped all my MBtex seats for the same coloured leather seats with rear headrests that were in the 280S.  Those seats were no way delivered in that car and I suspect they came from an SEL originally.

I pulled the rear seats out of an SEL to fit to my 280SE for the headrests and I'm pretty sure there's no difference.
At least none that I can pick.

There's no difference other than the lack of head restraints, so it will be a straight swap.
